Too Great Not to Share

Aside from the joy and reaffirmation of belief that I receive with just about any conversion story, I also love me some nice reversion stories...particularly accounts that touch upon freeing oneself of life plaguing experiences like drug addiction and incarceration. Mark Wahlberg clearly has his priorities in order. I love to see people in the spotlight this committed to faith, family, and community. Well done, Mark!

  1. That is so awesome. It really gives me some hope for the world when well-known people have conversions like that and then publicly change their lives around. Wow!

J-A mentioned that most people he knows are against abortion. I'm assuming that means most of his peers. That also gives me hope. Perhaps a better generation is coming.

  2. (J-A is Alex or Jean-Alexandre - I forgot outside of Québec most people don't know him as J-A)

  3. Oh, I knew who you were talking about. ;)

Jeanne, this reversion is even more remarkable when you read about his life before. I mean, yeah, he was a criminal, but he was of the especially violent variety. He even blinded a man, and what I read suggests that it was racially motivated. :(
